Get hands-on with the North American Railroad Foundation (NARF) Exhibit Area as you learn about working on the railroad and build your own creations in our LEGO area!

Using a compass and chains, along with a sector, parallel rule, and circular protractor learn how George Washington surveyed our area for Lord Fairfax. (ages 8-15). Register by the previous Wednesday to save your place!

Thu, October 12, 2017, Grandparents and Seniors Mornings

Join us every 2nd Thursday of the month from 9am-12pm for special Grandparents and Seniors Mornings! Tickets will be $4/person for both children and adults. The Museum is a wonderful place to learn about our rich regional history and to remember the local stories telling about how the Eastern Panhandle played a pivotal role in our nation’s history in so many ways. We look forward to your visit!

Three different age-appropriate history scavenger hunts will be provided. Successful completion of the hunt will earn the participant a prize. (ages 4 to 15). Register by the previous Wednesday to save your place!
