For The Kids, By George, Children’s Museum is expanding our Board of Directors to enable us to thrive in the coming years. Our mission is to provide an interactive and engaging environment that immerses children and families in the history and culture of the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and its importance to the founding of our nation. We believe what we do has an impact on our children to give them a sense of connection and pride of place to our special part of West Virginia. Our children will become future business and community leaders who will be stewards of our local heritage.
We are looking for leaders who support and love what we do. Someone who wants to work to maintain and strengthen the uniquely entertaining way that we bring history alive. Someone who loves children and cares about their education. Someone with new ideas to challenge us to serve in new ways.
