Underground Rail Road Journey with Martinsburg South Middle Principal, Rosa Clark at the For the Kid

Date: Saturday, February 6 @ 11:00am

On Saturday, Feb. 6th the “For The Kids, By George!” Children’s Museum will be hosting an Underground Railroad Journey experience to commemorate Black History Month. From 11a.m. to 1 p.m. visitors will take their own journey on the Underground Railroad finding signs, symbols and friends as they try to make their way to freedom while avoiding trouble-making enemies and traps. Martinsburg South Middle School Principal, Rosa Clark will be our community partner and educator for this event. All who attend this journey will learn about why this network was such an important part of our story as a nation.

The activity is open to all ages and is included with the $6 price of admission for those 2 years- old and up.
